和大怨 必有余怨 焉可以为善
是以圣人右介而不以责于人
故有德司介 无德司徹
夫天道无亲 恒与善人
用调和的办法(强行)化解比较大的怨恨,并不能使怨恨完全消失,这怎么可以算得上是妥善(的解决问题)呢? 所以,通达事理的人以协助者、庇佑者的角色对怨恨各方界定问题之所在(分别解决问题),而不是一味的指责当事人并把责任分摊给当事人(各打八十大板以求快速调和矛盾)。所以依照道理而践行的人明确界定问题并解决,而不按照道理的则一味的以破坏问题(的结果)来解决问题。 天地运行的规则是没有偏好和私心的,善于践行的人能够一直和祂(依靠祂)同步发展。
右,助也;
介,从八从人。人各有介;人各守其所分也;
徹,毀也。
Using a harmonious approach (forced) to resolve bigger grudges, does not make grudges disappear completely, so how can this be considered a proper way of solving problems?
Therefore, those who understand the principles of things take on the role of an assistant or protector in identifying the root causes of grudges and resolving them for each party involved, rather than blindly blaming the parties involved and distributing responsibilities (each hitting 80 big boards in order to quickly reconcile conflicts). So those who act in accordance with principles clearly identify and solve problems, while those who do not act in accordance with principles only aim to destroy the problems in order to solve them.
The rules of the operation of heaven and earth do not have preferences or personal gain, those who are good at putting principles into practice are able to continue developing in sync with it.
