德圩九 - Te Chapter 59

治人事天莫若啬

夫唯啬 是以蚤服

蚤服 是胃重积德

重积德则无不克

无不克则莫知亓极

莫知亓极 可以有国

有国之母 可以长久

是胃深槿固氐 长生久视之道也

体现治理百姓、响应天时运行规律（应时按节）的能力，没有比（保证）收获农作物效果更好的。 因为收获了作物，需要早一步做好打算（多少收成、如何留种、如何入库备荒、如何填饱肚子等）；早一点计划，就可以更优化的积攒更多的能量去承担更多的践行责任；有能力去践行意味着没有什么不能被克服；什么都能克服，意味着拥有无限的（不可估量的）能力；不知道能力的极限，就可以尝试拥有（治理）王国。 （通过上面的分析）了解到治理王国的基础、付诸实践拥有它，这样的王国是可以长久的。 这就是基础越牢固，发展越蓬勃，生命长久而仍能保持耳聪目明的道理。

The ability to govern the people and respond to the laws of nature is best demonstrated by the ability to ensure a good harvest of crops.

This requires early planning, such as determining the amount of harvest, how to save seed, how to store for times of scarcity, and how to feed the people. Early planning allows for better optimization of energy to take on more responsibilities. Having the ability to take on responsibilities means that there is nothing that cannot be overcome. Being able to overcome everything means having unlimited potential. Not knowing the limits of one's potential means trying to have a kingdom.

Understanding the foundation of governing a kingdom and putting it into practice will make the kingdom long-lasting.

This is the principle that the stronger the foundation, the more vigorous the development and the longer the life, and still being able to maintain a sharp mind.
