Te Chapter 43
The most flexible (water) among all things under the heaven, flows freely through the dense and solid (mountains, rocks, and land), this is the ability of something that is not physically tangible to move freely in and out of useful objects that are being formed. I thus understand that when doing things, I should not be obsessed with my own persistence and efforts, and should not have the demand of "I must get this done" for the result. This way of being content with inaction is rewarding.
Avoiding boastful teachings (flexibly implementing) and gaining the achievement of being content with inaction, this state is rare for everyone to catch up.
