道廿五 - Tao Chapter 25
有物昆成 先天地生
绣呵缪呵 独立而不改 可以为天地母
吾未知其名 字之曰道
吾强为之名曰大 大曰筮 筮曰远 远曰反
道大 天大 地大 王亦大
国中有四大 而王居一焉
人法地 地法天 天法道 道法自然
“天地”这个概念出现之前就存在着一系列的基础规则(事物)。那些规则彼此交错又相互缠绕的样子,由此形成了这五光十色的世界(“天地”)。这个“事物”的运行逻辑是独立于这“天地”之外的;并且不管“天地”怎么变化,祂的规律不会改变。可以称祂为孕育“天地”的母体。 我不知道祂真实的命名,所以根据祂的表现起一个表字,叫“道”。如果一定要勉强的命名祂,我尝试命名祂为“大”。这个“大”涵盖了所有的意义,阐释了时间的古往今来(卜筮),阐释了空间的远近,阐释了循环往复的规律。 根据上面的定义,“道”是“大”的表现,天是“大”的表现,地是“大”的表现,王也是“大”的表现。 整个天下有四个是“大”的表现,“王”是其中之一。因为人依靠大地过活(衣食住行在地上);地上作物依靠天象得以生生不息;天象是依照特定的“道理”而成;这个“道理”是依靠内在的规律自我驱动而成。 国谓王之国(周朝时,“王天下”)。
Before the concept of "heaven and earth" existed, there was a series of fundamental rules (things) that existed. These rules intertwined and intertwined with each other, thus forming this colorful world ("heaven and earth"). The operating logic of this "thing" is independent of this "heaven and earth"; and no matter how "heaven and earth" change, its rules will not change. It can be called the mother body that gave birth to "heaven and earth".
I don't know its true name, so based on its performance, I give it the name "Dao". If it must be named, I will try to name it "Da". This "Da" covers all meanings, explains the past and present of time (divination), explains the distance and nearness of space, and explains the cyclical laws.
According to the definition above, "Dao" is the expression of "Da", heaven is the expression of "Da", earth is the expression of "Da", and the king is also the expression of "Da".
The entire world has four expressions of "Da", "king" is one of them. Because people rely on the earth to survive (clothing, food, housing and transportation are on the earth); crops on the earth rely on the sky to survive; the sky is based on specific "principles" and self-driven; this "principle" relies on the inherent laws to self-drive.
