Te Chapter 48
The process of learning is one of enriching one's knowledge, with new knowledge gained every day. The process of deducing the essence from phenomena is one of abstraction, purification and refinement, with one getting closer to the root of things every day. The more refined the result, the more it encompasses everything and the more one understands the development of any thing, thus making everything easy and natural, allowing one to maintain a state of "quietude in inaction." When the state of mind is at peace in inaction, one can do anything.
For those who seek to govern the world, everything is in the mind but not shown, maintaining good qualities and a light attitude (not complaining, not disappointed, not chasing, not counting, etc.); if one is entangled with some things, one is not capable of governing the world.
