治大国若亨小鲜

以道立天下 亓鬼不神

非亓鬼不神也 亓神不伤人也

非亓申不伤人也 圣人亦弗伤也

夫两不相伤 故德交归焉

治理大的王国却要像烹制小鱼一样（不需要开膛去鳞、也不能急火猛炸。不能管的太细，也不能压太狠，让发挥出自然的鲜香）。 根据基本道理看待天下万物，就会发现很多似人非人的“怪物”其实并不需要被当做“神秘”来对待。并不是说怪物不神奇，而是它们主观上并不想伤人（所以只需要以平常心对待）。不只是它们主观上不伤人，通达事理的人也不想伤害（它们）。因为两两之间不互相伤害，所以践行的时候可以共同促进。
