Te Chapter 42
勿,州里所建旗;
All things under the heaven despise being alone (losing one's elders), without a mate (losing one's loved one), and without abilities (limited abilities), but kings and nobles still use these titles to describe themselves. They humbly demean themselves, but serve as a role model, seemingly suffering a loss but actually gaining an advantage. On the other hand, those who boast and appear to gain support may actually suffer a loss and harm themselves.
Therefore, advice received during the day should be discussed, digested, absorbed, and analyzed through the night before being taught to others with one's own logic.
Therefore, those who like to be aggressive (thinking that being strong is good) do not understand their own outcome (not a good outcome). I take this sentence as the foundation for learning all knowledge.
