完备的事物（或理论）总是能支持新方向的发展或发现，由此表现得好像始终有欠缺一样，祂可以持续的发挥作用而不会败坏；充斥一切的事物，身居其中反而无法被感觉到，但是祂产生的功用是无法穷尽的。 极度正直的，说话直来直去，表达的时候往往显得言语钝拙；极度灵巧的，做事的时候举重若轻，往往很少的几个步骤就能达成目标，表现得好像很笨拙的样子；获得巨大盈余的，要么非常节省，要么持续投入，表现得好些始终不够用一样。 快速运动可以抵御寒冷；保持平静可以对抗炎热。 请时刻保持平静，这样才能（胜任）成为天下中正的榜样。
